Distressed Public is an independent platform based in Zurich, Switzerland which focuses on three main areas: Arts, Sounds and Textiles. The area of Arts provides space for art projects. Sounds is focusing on a platform for all kinds of genres, through sharing and giving artists the chance to share their music with the community. Textiles realizes ideas in the form of fashion and pursuits a quality rather than a quantity orientated approach.
Studio Yang developed the visual identity of Distressed Public which represents tolerance, unity and love. The aim was to subtly communicate the identity and cultural creation of Distressed Public. Studio Yang designed their visual appearance across digital, textile and spatial levels. This included logo design and animation graphics and the design elements of a clothing collection.
