“NEWNEW” explores moments of unity & disconnect, the search for inner peace and that speacial place where one can simply listen, speak & be at home.
Studio Yang worked together with filmmaker Dylan Moore, musician Miles Singleton and photographer Clara Renner on the making of the music video ¨NEWNEW feat. Naim & Pops¨.
Through working together on the music video, we came together as a collective. With an exhibition we wanted to show how different, creative approaches can feed each other and be in direct conversation.
The event took place over three days in an offspace and presented the exclusive screening of the music video in sync with the exhibition of our artistic works.
For us, NEWNEW describes the process of transformation from individual wishes and ideas to a common, tangible form. That is why we identify with the butterfly symbol, which embodies this process and manifests itself in the visual language of our visual appearance.
